Intercept Music has formed an agreement with Nashville, Tenn.-based Studio3Bee, a collective led by some of country music’s most decorated executives. Former Sony Music Nashville executives Skip Bishop, Butch Waugh and Renee Bell have signed on to serve as Intercept Music’s Brand Ambassadors with contemporary artists in the country, Americana, bluegrass, AAA and Texas genres. The agreement builds on Brand Ambassador relationships that Intercept Music has already signed in the Latin, pop, Christian and gospel fields, with several more in the works. NEXTUNE Music, based in Bellevue, Washington, now features SESAC music in its licensed music service for businesses. NEXTUNE Music, available in the Apple App Store since July, featured ASCAP-, BMI- and GMR-licensed music for restaurants, retail shops and many other public background music systems.
Beginning in October, NEXTUNE’s music service will include music from SESAC’s more than 30,000 songwriters such as Adele, Bob Dylan, Neil Diamond and other popular artists. Warner Classics has launched a new collaboration with IDAGIO, in a partnership that will see the specialist classical music streaming service make the entire Warner Classics and Erato catalogue available to its users.
The IDAGIO catalogue, which already comprises over 650,000 tracks, will encompass all new and recent releases from the Warner Classics and Erato labels, as well as the complete catalogue, including recordings originally issued on such iconic labels as EMI Classics and Teldec (now Warner Classics) and Virgin Classics (now Erato).
